Welcome August | NYC Green Events
Here's the curated list of volunteer and social opportunities for NYC environmentalists from July 29th through August 4th.
Hi friend,
Have you seen Twisters yet? I loved it. Admittedly, I love the original with Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt, too, and I’ve wanted to go tornado chasing ever since. One thing I appreciated about the stand-alone sequel (aside from the cameo from Bill Paxton’s son) is seeing the support for local communities that were devastated by the twisters. Community is everything. You know it, I know it, and Hollywood knows it, too! In a year where New York has seen a record number of tornadoes in July, I’m glad to be in community with you to support this planet. See you right back here next week.
🌎, Jasmine
