Mid-October | NYC Green Events
Here's the curated list of volunteer and social opportunities for NYC environmentalists from October 14th through 20th.
Hi friend,
Please excuse the lateness of this week’s newsletter! Between a medical emergency and celebrating my four-year anniversary with my partner, time got away from me this past weekend. We’ve been deep into scary movie season in our apartment and the movie we watched last night had a climate change-fueled trees revenge plot that was cheesy in execution, but cool as a concept. As you already know, the reality of climate change is nothing compared to the fiction! There are many ways for you to engage across NYC this week, including a hurricane Sandy anniversary plant session to increase coastal resiliency. Let me know what you check out and I’ll see you next week.
🌎, Jasmine
