Mid-November | NYC Green Events
Here's the curated list of volunteer and social opportunities for NYC environmentalists from November 18th-24th.
Hi friend,
I spent my morning raking up leaves from Riverside Park and helping to relocate them from pedestrian pathways to the slopes and banks of the park. It was so lovely to start my day outside, in community (high schoolers, college students, and other neighbors were all in attendance), and doing something my part to support my neighborhood. How are you practicing community this week? There are so many ways to jump in (see below), and don’t underestimate a quick search for {community garden volunteer} or {park volunteer} and plugging in details for your local garden or park!
🌎, Jasmine
P.S. I’ll be speaking on a panel about sustainable living in Brooklyn on December 14th. Grab your tickets here to attend the panel, a passive house tour, the home goods swap, and more!
I do not run any of the events below. If you have questions about event specifics, please contact the event organizer directly.
