Mid June | NYC Green Events
Here's the curated list of volunteer and social opportunities for NYC environmentalists from June 10th through 16th.
Hi friend,
This past Friday I volunteered in Morningside Park and spent three sweaty hours digging and pulling invasive plants. It was rewarding and I can’t encourage you enough to get your hands in some dirt to support your local community this summer. This week there are events for clothing upcycle lovers, yogis, fashion aficionados, beach lovers, menders, circular economy lovers, gardeners, and more! It always amazes me that there are so many unique and engaging ways to support the environment and build community here in NYC. Read on for this week’s menu of opportunities.
