Late-May | NYC Green Events
Here's the curated list of volunteer and social opportunities for NYC environmentalists from May 20th through 26th.
Hi friend,
If you have a chance to make it out to Governor’s Island this spring/summer, absolutely take it! It’s one of my favorite spots to read in the summer and they have a slew of climate resiliency efforts underway all around the island. From a teaching garden to air quality sensors to climate art exhibitions it’s a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Today I attended the climate resiliency tour that they held (mentioned in last week’s newsletter) and as you can see, I really enjoyed it! I hope you find an event you enjoy just as much this week.
