Saturday is World Ocean Day and this year’s theme is Catalyzing Action for Our Ocean & Climate! There are clean-up events in Brooklyn and a celebration taking place in Manhattan. Let’s cross our fingers for some more perfect spring weather! See you back here next week.

JUN 3 - [MNHTN] Volunteer in Fort Washington Park, 8:30-11 am, volunteer. “During this event, we'll be working together to clean up the park, do some weeding, and maintain the tennis courts and soccer fields.” RSVP here.
JUN 3 - [BX] Pitch in to Pick Up, 10 am-12 pm, volunteer. “Your efforts not only protect wildlife & the rest of the Bronx River ecosystem, but they also help us identify the sources of trash so we can stop the pollution where it starts!” More info here.
