JUL 8 - [MNHTN] Summer of Heart Art Build, 4:30-9 pm, volunteer. “Help make art for upcoming Summer of Heat actions!” Register here.
JUL 9 - [BX] Summer Garden Tune-Up Tuesdays, 10 am-1 pm, volunteer. “At the VCPA Educational Garden & Compost Site, we are open and enjoying (and expanding!) our rebuilt space while maintaining our plants and produce. Volunteers will learn how to care for the garden, maintain compost bins, weed, water, and harvest produce.” Register here.
JUL 10 - [BX] Water Chestnut Wednesday at Van Cortlandt Park, 9 am-12 pm, volunteer. “Your help is crucial in removing water chestnuts from the lake, an invasive species that poses a significant threat to our local ecosystem.” Register here.
JUL 11 - [BK] Summer Sip and Sort FABSCRAP BKLYN, 6-8 pm, volunteer. “Enjoy summer cocktails, while spending your Thursday evening sorting fabric scraps for recycling and shopping for reclaimed fabrics afterward.” Register here.

JUL 9 - [MNHTN] Volunteer at W 143rd St!, 1-3 pm, volunteer. “During this event, we'll be working together to clean up the park using trash grabbers and garbage bags. It's a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy the outdoors, and contribute to the well-being of our community.” Register here.

JUL 14 - [GOV IS] Climate Collage Making Workshop, 2-4 pm. “Come envision a healthy future for humans and nature during a free collage making workshop in the Climate Imaginarium on Governors Island. Using papers pulled from the waste stream, recycling bins, the trash, or junk mail, we will create a small work of art suitable for framing, a greeting card, or small folding book.” Register here.
