We bought the bunches of forsythia and magnolia branches, and they’ve already started to open up today! I hope you can find a small moment of self-care in the coming week. [QNS] Wetland Grasses Walk: 6-7:30 pm. “This walk and talk will begin at the Queens Landing Boathouse & Environmental Center. Hunters Point Parks Conservancy executive director, Jessica Sechrist, and environmental educator, Serina Griffin, will then lead the walk to our restored salt water marsh and teach about native grasses and NYC wetlands.”

[QNS] Crafting Community: A Textile Arts Fair, $10 suggested donation: 12-5 pm. “Bringing together textile designers, fiber artists, and craftspeople from NYC for a circular maker’s market, sustainable craft workshops, and fiber art exhibition.”

[MNHTN] Spring Cherry Blossoms Hike: 1-2:30 pm. “Join the Urban Park Rangers on a super hike of all the best cherry trees in Central Park, from Pilgrim to Cherry Hill to the Great Hill and the Reservoir! Hopefully we catch them in peak bloom.”
